Our Mission Statement

Scartaglen National School is a welcoming, supportive community where every child is encouraged to learn, grow and reach their full potential. We nurture curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning in a safe and caring environment.

Rooted in the Catholic tradition and enriched by the heritage of Sliabh Luachra, we value respect, kindness and responsibility, ensuring every child feels included and celebrated.

Working in partnership with parents and the wider community, we support each child’s academic, social, emotional and physical development.

Our aim is to provide a happy, inclusive and inspiring school experience that prepares children to contribute positively to the world around them.
