We had a wonderful week of Activities for Active Schools Week. From dodgeball to orienteering and basketball to unihoc, we had a week packed with activities. We also had a whole school event called Sportstar Superstar and our school Sports Day. Thanks to our Parent’s Council for organising an ice cream van to visit the school on our Sports Day. As part of our Active Schools Week we had a lovely day out hiking in Tomies Wood in Killarney National Park. We walked 8km and went to see O’Sullivan’s Cascade. You can see lots of photos of the trip here.

Congratulations to our 2nd Class on making their First Holy Communion in Scartaglen Church last Saturday. A massive thanks to Ms. McCarthy and Katie for all their work preparing the children. Thanks also to Mr. Kelliher and the choir for the beautiful music and to Fr. Sean for the lovely ceremony.
